The Modern skin was created for Blockhouse Bay parish, who required a vertical menu to display a range of diverse pages, and a solemn look to complement the marble of their parish statue.

This skin depends on the banner image and content for its colour, which draws attention to said content while looking clean and attractive. Because of this, a parish could change their banner each season, in liturgical colours, or choose any base colour they like for the banner. Three samples are provided to the left.

The skin consists of a large banner image, vertical menu without flyouts, and two content areas: a narrow left-hand column and a wide right-hand column. The left hand column is suitable for displaying short announcements, mass times or similar brief content.
