The first of our parish skins, an earlier version of the Base skin was launched with the Northcote Parish website. After extensive testing and parish feedback, the skin was redesigned and coded to load faster and improve reliability.
The completed skin is available in blue, green and red, as pictured to the left.
The skin consists of a banner image, horizontal styled menu with optional dropdowns, and three content areas: a full-width pane at the top of the page, a narrow left-hand column and a wider right-hand column.
This template is optimised for a clean display of parish information, with plenty of white-space for reading ease. The right-hand column is ideal for most content, with the full-width area to fall back on in special circumstances (eg. a large table of information to display).
